This experiential training program helps you to get to know yourself and cultivate your natural capacity to take good care of yourself.
Using mindfulness practices you learn to step out of habitual and automatic habits that may not be serving you well, and instead discover your capacity to choose purposeful actions that nourish your health and wellbeing. Throughout the program you learn to bring the practice of mindfulness into everyday life experiences helping you to break cycles of anxiety, stress, exhaustion and other difficulties.
The eight-week MBSR is an immersive program allowing participants to develop a regular meditation and mindfulness practice. Building on these practices and week-by-week learnings, participants open up to new discoveries about themselves and how to manage and respond to life’s challenges.
Developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Centre, the MBSR is considered the ‘gold-standard’ of mindfulness courses. The program has been extensively researched for more than 40 years.

The present moment, whenever it is recognized and honored, reveals a very special, indeed magical power. The present is the only time that we have to know anything. It is the only time that we have to perceive, to learn, to act, to change, to heal.

Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom
