Mindfulness training & courses

Here are some programmmes that can support you

A regular mindfulness practice is helpful for people with a range of physical and mental health challenges including stress, isolation, burnout, anxiety, depression, pain, illness, and existential concerns. This work and my own commitment to it is grounded in an understanding about what humans need to feel safe, responsive, and empowered to transform things, inside and out.

Foundational group course

MBSR is an 8‑week/9‑session course with teacher‑guided formal and informal mindfulness practices. It supports awareness and presence, fostering an accepting, compassionate attitude toward our inner and outer experiences and the flow of daily living.

Our hectic, fast-paced life means our attention is easily divided by competing demands. Finding calm and steadiness matters more than ever. MBSR helps us cope.

Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR)

  • Learn core mindfulness skills with guided practice.
  • Bring mindfulness into work, home, and relationships.
  • Reduce stress reactivity and find rest and awareness.

Mindfulness should no longer be considered a “nice-to-have” for executives. It’s a “must-have”: a way to keep our brains healthy, to support self-regulation and effective decision-making capabilities, and to protect ourselves from toxic stress.

Short courses

For organisations

Mindfulness is pausing and checking in with ourselves to notice how things are in the moment. With curiosity and friendliness, we can learn to relax and steady the mind, body, and emotions.

In sessions with Angie, you’ll explore activities that help you pause, relax, and find balance. They can help you:

  • Manage stress
  • Work with physical or emotional challenges
  • Calm and balance the nervous system
  • Improve relationships
  • Meet your emotions with more kindness

Activities include mindful movement, mindful walking, breathing exercises, guided meditations, body scans, mindful eating, and kindness and compassion meditation. You’ll also have time to share or write reflections about your experience.
